The Heart of Ireland: Journal Three (2014)
If you can't beat them, use them.
The influence of the new god spread across Erin, but not everywhere and not impenetrably. Somewhere, if only in the deepest subconscious, all of the Others with even a trace of Deena Shee blood remembered... and feared.
For the Deena Shee, the few remaining children of Danu, time in the Upperworld sped rapidly through the centuries, but not for the Others, and certainly not for Casey, the Chronicler of the People. Her mother, Bava, had doomed the Deena Shee to perish, but in what way and at what time, no one knew. Casey watched closely through the years since then, searching for a clue for a way to save them all.
In that search, Casey finds something she never expected... and loses something she didn't know she needed.
